The opportunity to take your little kids to the temple doesn't happen very often, but we took advantage of the open house at the Oquirrh Mountain temple and we had a great time with the kids. They loved to see the inside of the temple and they marvelled at the beauty (as did we!) The temple is really a special place for us and it was a very spiritual occasion to be able to share the temple with the kids!
The only downer was the amount of people at the temple that day. Since it was open to the public for the open house, any one can come inside and see all of the rooms. There was an estimated 10,000 people who went through the temple the day we did (July 30th)!
